At least a week before your fast, you need to start eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Cut down on meat, complex carbohydrates, caffeine and sugar. There are several ways of fasting but juice fasting or juicing is one of the best ways and it’s not as intense as other type of fasting. Fast for a period of two to three days.
You will start to experience to experience certain healing symptoms. For instance, your acne might get worse but this is due to toxins that is released from your body. Don’t be discouraged, this is just a temporary thing and it will pass.
During this period, you should get lots of rest and restrain yourself from physical activities. Just do some light exercises or you can do yoga.
